چکیده

This research was carried out to compare the nutritional values of different morphological organs 9 quinoa (Cherry Vanilla, French Read Head, Rainbow, Titicaca, China Population, Moqu-Arrochilla, Oro De Valle and Q-52) genotypes in Bingöl conditions. The established trial field University Genç Vocational School Application Research area during 2019 growing period. study with randomized block design four replications. crude protein, ash, acid detergent fiber (ADF), neutral (NDF), digestible dry matter (DDM), intake (DMI) rates relative feed value (RFV) stems, leaves bunches used were investigated. According results research; protein ratios varied between 5.0-9.4% stem, 13.7-22.% leaf 19.6-23.2% bunch, ash 7.8-14.3% 23.9-29.4% 13.1-17.6% ADF 40.3-51.2% 9.9-15.4% 11.9-16.8% NDF 49.1-68.2% 22.5-35.6% 24.3-32.0% DDM 49.0-57.5% 76.9-81.2% 75.8-79.6% DMI 1.76-2.44% 3.37-5.33% 3.75-4.93% cluster, RFV 67-101 201-322 224-298 cluster. result; best terms both quality digestibility obtained from population. Therefore; it is recommended that Chinese population can be raised similar ecologies.

Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.): composition, chemistry, nutritional, and functional properties.

Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.), which is considered a pseudocereal or pseudograin, has been recognized as a complete food due to its protein quality. It has remarkable nutritional properties; not only from its protein content (15%) but also from its great amino acid balance. It is an important source of minerals and vitamins, and has also been found to contain compounds like polyphenols, ph...

Distribution of minerals in quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) seeds.

The distribution of minerals in quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) seed was examined using energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis (EDX) in combination with scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Phosphorus, K, and Mg coincided in localization in embryonic tissue. Since phytin globoids have been known to localize in protein bodies in embryonic cells of quinoa seed, it is thought that P is attributed...

The Worldwide Potential for Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.)

Quinoa is a highly nutritious food product, being cultivated for several thousands years in South America, with an outstanding protein quality and a high content of a range of vitamins and minerals. Other positive aspects of quinoa are the saponins found in the seed hull and the lack of gluten. Quinoa is one of the main food crops in the Andean mountains, but during recent times there has been ...

NUTRITIONAL ASPECTS OF SIX QUINOA (Chenopodium quinoa WILLD.) ECOTYPES FROM THREE GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS OF CHILE

This study explored the diversity of the quinoa crop in Chile from a nutritional perspective. Nutritional properties, minerals, vitamins, and saponin content were assessed in seeds of six Chilean quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) ecotypes grown in three main production areas with distinctive climatic and edaphic conditions: Ancovinto and Cancosa in the NorthAltiplano or High Plateau, Cáhuil an...

Study of some physicochemical and functional properties of quinoa (chenopodium quinoa willd) protein isolates.

The amino acid composition and the physicochemical and functional properties of quinoa protein isolates were evaluated. Protein isolates were prepared from quinoa seed by alkaline solubilization (at pH 9, called Q9, and at pH 11, called Q11) followed by isoelectric precipitation and spray drying. Q9 and Q11 had high levels of essential amino acids, with high levels of lysine. Both isolates show...
